Niko arrives in Liberty City at the request of his cousin Roman, who has exaggerated his success. Niko gets caught between gang conflicts, corrupt politicians, and his own dark past. The game explores deep themes like revenge, the immigrant experience, loyalty, and betrayal.
The game has multiple endings based on player choices.
